Club Championship Final Four & Championship Results
On Saturday August 2nd the Final Four matches were played for the Club Championship divisions. In the Final Four of the Men's Championship division Spencer Rubin bested Nick Shanley 3&1 and Jamie Anderson defeated Joe Cox 3&1 as well to advance to the Championship match on Sunday, with Jamie Anderson securing the 2025 Club Championship 2UP over Spencer Rubin in the final match.
The Final Four of the Men's Open flight saw Jason Waxman go up against Max Kawakami with Max advancing to the Finals 2&1. In the other match Bobby Scarinci defeated Mark Tuscano 3&2 to face Max in the Finals on Sunday. Max captured the Men's Open Championship in dominating fashion winning 6&4.
Lastly, in the Final Four of the Women's Club Championship Debbie Johnson faced off against Alison Danzberger to advance to the Women's Final winning 8&7. Karen Kiely versus Myra Macmillan rounded out the other side of the Women's bracket. Myra held off Karen to win 5&4. In the Championship Final, Debbie defeated Myra 5&4 to win the 2025 Women's Club Championship. All three Champions will receive $216.66 in credit to the Pro Shop. Senior Club Championship Qualifying & Elite Eight Results
This past Saturday we kicked off the annual Senior Club Championship. In the Men's Senior division there were 17 members vying for the coveted 8 spots that advanced to Match play on Sunday. Rich Pinsky was the top seed shooting a 79 on the day. For the Men's Super Senior flight 12 members slugged it out with Frank Morris earning the top slot with a 79. Lastly, in the Legends Division it was all about seeding for the Final Four. Shelly Guyer secured the Number One seed by shooting a 91. On Sunday the Final Four of Legend's flight took place. Shelly Guyer defeated Richard Rottman 8&7 and John Coelho bested Bob Kelly 4&3. This Saturday will be the Finals for the Legend's Flight pitting Please, see the brackets below for the Elite Eight results and Final Four matchups. Good luck to those playing this weekend.
August Nine & Dine Results
Last Thursday night we held our fourth Nine & Dine of the season. This month's winners were Chuck & Mary Zwecker and David & Pam Winter taking home 1st Net with a winning score of 27. The Gross Net winning team consisted of Scott & Christina Hagen and David & Susan Rhieu with a winning score of 35. Everyone won $28 in shop credit.
Our Final Nine & Dine of the season will take place on Wednesday, September 10th, and it will feature a Carving Station for $60. We hope to see you there.
Blackhawk Cup
The Men's Blackhawk Cup Final Four is now set and the Women's Blackhawk Cup is now in the Championship Round and the team of Mary Zwecker & Carole Guglielmino will face off against the team of Karen Kiely & Myra Macmillan. One Day Member~Guest
This summer, join us for a laid-back day of golf, good vibes, and island-inspired fun at our Margaritaville Golf Tournament! This fun filled tournament takes place on Thursday, August 14th, with "Parrot Head" themed lunch at noon and a Shotgun start at 1pm with dinner to follow. Hawaiian shirts encouraged, stress not allowed. Because it’s always 5 o’clock somewhere—especially on the back nine!
Member~Member Tournament
The Member~Member tournament returns on Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th. This is a 36-Hole Stroke Play Championship is open to all Full-Members both Male and Female. Registration is now open so sign up in the Pro Shop.
Par Three Cart Paths & On Course Maintenance
This is a friendly reminder from the Maintenance Department that all carts must adhere to the Cart Path Only policy on all of the Par Threes. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.
Please, remember to replace and repair all your divots and ball marks on the greens during play. Not only does this help with keeping the course healthy and overall play-ability, it is also part of golf etiquette.
