MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH NEWS
Due to a lack of interest for this event management had to make the difficult decision to cancel the Mother's Day Brunch. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused.
Opening Day Cocktail Party & ABCD roundup
Last week we held our annual Opening Day Cocktail Party and the Opening Day ABCD Scramble. It was so nice to welcome back all our members, new and old. Chef Chris and his team put together another fantastic buffet spread. We also had a tasting table featuring Spike Ade, a new alcoholic beverage that we will be serving on the Beverage Cart and in the Pro Shop. We hope that you enjoy this new offering out on the course.
UPCOMING CLUB EVENTS
The President's Cup returns starting on Saturday, May 2nd. Our format remains two-person teams, year-long bracket style match play. The field is limited to the first 32 two-person teams, with separate men's and women's divisions.
SPRING 1-DAY MEMBER GUEST NEWS
Due to the water damage incurred in the lower level of the Clubhouse, the Spring 1-Day Member Guest is postponed to a later date. We want to ensure that your guests are able to enjoy all the amenities Blackhawk has to offer during their time here. We apologize for any inconvenience and we will let you know when we reschedule this One-Day Member Guest.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT LEAGUE
The Wednesday Night League will return starting on Wednesday, May 6th and will run until Wednesday, September 9th, this is open to all Blackhawk Members. This 20 weeks long league will be an all out summer battle for the Blackhawk Cup. This individual 9-Hole competition will use the Stableford Scoring system and your quota is based off your USGA Handicap. The entry fee is $150 charged to your Member Account and you have the chance to win up to $2500 in Shop Credit (based on number of participants) for First Place. See our Head Pro for more details.
The league offers a flexible schedule where you can tee off anytime after 2pm on Wednesdays for your score to count towards the league standings. You are required to play your nine hole round with another Blackhawk Member. You can play every Wednesday, every other week, once a month or just once all season. This is tailored to fit your schedule, but the more often you play the more points you can accumulate in the standings.
There will be Weekly and Monthly bonus competitions. We will have a weekly Skins game for both Gross and Net scores that will be paid out in cash as well as our Monthly Beat the Pro Night, which will take place the last Wednesday of every Month. If you can beat our Head Pro's score for that night you will double your points for that one week. You can sign up at the Pro Shop counter and good luck to everyone that participates.
MAY NINE & DINE
The monthly Nine & Dine golf event returns on Friday, May 22nd. Join us for nine holes of golf followed by appetizers, drinks and dinner afterwards.
MEMORIAL DAY ABCD
Back by popular demand is the Memorial Day ABCD which will take place on Sunday, May 24th with a 9:00am Shotgun Start and lunch to follow. We look forward to seeing all of you participating in this highly requested event.

Chef Chris has been hard at work this off-season creating a brand new Lunch Menu that brings back traditional Country Club Fare with an influx of fresh new flavorful eats. Please, see the attached new Spring Menu for 2026!
