"A Tradition Unlike Any Other", the Masters concluded on Sunday with Rory McIlroy finally winning his first Green Jacket and becoming the sixth Grand Slam Champion. We too had our own Masters inspired event last Wednesday, the Masters Par 3 Event. A great time was had by all that participated and look forward to this fun and creative next year. Jerry did an amazing job creating a fun but challenging Par 3 course on the Front Nine. While we did not hand out Green Jackets to our winners they were awarded credit to the Pro-Shop. The team of Gregg Karas, Robert Merturi, & John Giannattasio came in First Place with a team score of 24. We had two Closest to the Pin Winners, Frank Loh was the closest on Hole #3 with a measurement of 15' 1". Debbie Johnson was our other winner on Hole #7 with a measurement of 7' 11". Thank you to everyone that came out to participate in this fun event!

Following the Cocktail Party will be our annual Opening Day Scramble on Saturday, April 26. This event is open to all Male & Female members with weekend access to the club. Let's kick off the season with some friendly competition!

The first Nine & Dine of the season returns on May 1, 2025. It is a Shotgun start beginning at 5pm with Dinner and Drink to follow in the restaurant. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

The Blackhawk Cup formerly the President's Cup returns on May 1st. Our format remains two-person teams, year-long bracket style match play. The field is limited to the first 32 two-person teams, with separate men's and women's divisions. Play begins May 1 sign-ups are open in the golf shop!

The Spring 1-Day Member Guest will be held this year on Thursday, May 15th. This event is a 2 Best Ball of 4 and you can sign up as a twosome or a foursome and it is open to all members.

The Blackhawk Open will take place on Saturday, May 17th. This is an 18 Hole Stroke Play Net Championship and it is open to all full members.
