November Member Update

It finally feels like fall as we enter into the most beautiful season in New England. Our golf event season is coming to an end but there is still plenty of time to hit the links. Break out your sweater and enjoy the lovely weather!

Two of our favorite events of the year are coming up soon! Our Toys Fore Joy Turkey Shoot, and Member Appreciation Holiday Party are this month. All information and signups for these events can be found in the golf shop.

We have some important updates below so please make sure to read each section. Our weekly emails are also a great way to stay in the loop on all golf and restaurant events.

New Staff Update

I would like to announce that we have hired a new Events & Sales Director for the club.

I am delighted to introduce Susan Sayers to the members of Blackhawk Country Club.  Along with the great team already working at the club we are excited and looking forward to a successful 2026 and moving forward.

Susan has been working in the Country Club environment for years.  Creating new events, managing yearly repeat events along with golf outings and member/guest tournaments.

Susan's goal is to raise the interest within our community to increase catering/banquet sales, with a strong focus on Wedding planning/Receptions.

Once again, Susan is looking forward to enhancing member satisfaction and creating memories for the Blackhawk membership. Susan is no stranger to Blackhawk as she worked at Oronoque Country Club years ago, so cheers to her coming back home!

2026 Membership Drive

It's hard to believe that we are already in the midst of our 2026 Membership Drive! This summer/fall, we are offering a variety of great deals to encourage your friends, family and neighbors to join us at Blackhawk. Plus, our Member Referral Program is still in effect! You can earn $500 per New Member Referral this season. The new member must record your name on their application at the time of joining. You will receive an immediate statement credit when the new member initiation fee is received.

Checking In

Just a friendly reminder that ALL MEMBERS AND GUESTS must check-in at the Pro Shop counter before going out to play. With all the new staff members this year we want to get to know all our member's names and faces so we can continue to provide a welcoming and personable atmosphere here at the club. We look forward to getting to know all of you.

Restaurant News

Starting this week the Restaurant will be open during the following hours listed below for the rest of the season.

Tuesday-Friday 11am-3pm

&

Saturday & Sunday 10am-3pm 

HAPPY HOUR!!!

For the rest of the season we will no longer be running Happy Hour, but do not worry Happy Hour will return in 2026!!!!

This year's last day of play, weather permitting, will be Sunday, November 30th. The Restaurant's last day of operation for the season will be Friday, December 19th. The pro shop will be open with limited hours until Wednesday, December 24th.
