Dear Members of Blackhawk Country Club,
I hope everyone had a wonderful winter season and is eagerly awaiting the return to the golf course, sunshine and green grass are in the very near future! The staff has spent the off season planning an amazing year and working diligently to improve our back-of-house operations, in addition to projects on the driving range, and upgrades to our golf maintenance facility. Most notably, I am excited to announce that as of April 1st Alliance Management will now be operating all food and beverage at Blackhawk. This is an endeavor long in the making, and we believe will truly enhance the member experience.
It is with great enthusiasm that I write to you today to introduce myself as the newly appointed General Manager of Blackhawk Country Club. I will be overseeing all golf and food and beverage operations at the club. My goal is simple, to align all club operations and provide exceptional hospitality to all members and guests.
In the coming weeks and months, we have exciting plans in store, including special events, tournaments, and enhancements to our facilities. Your feedback and ideas are invaluable to us, and we encourage open communication to ensure that your experience at Blackhawk Country Club continues to be exceptional.

2024 Club Calendar
Our 2024 club calendar is set! Please see below to see dates of our golf and member events this season. Event flyers will be available to view on the television outside of the golf shop, and keep an eye out for our "Tournament Tuesday" emails with all imperative club event information and updates sent weekly starting in April. Events open at least one month in advance with all sign-ups taking place in the golf shop. You will see many new events on the calendar, we are putting an emphasis on fun and unique experiences on the course. Save the dates and please feel free to reach out to the golf shop with any questions.
Golf Course Schedule & Projects
The golf course is tentatively scheduled to open on Friday, March 15th, weather permitting. Tee times in March will be available Tuesday-Sunday starting at 9:00am. Over the next few weeks will will send updates if our opening date changes due to weather conditions. The driving range will remain closed until installation of our new range mat is completed. Thank you for your patience during this time, we are looking forward to everyone enjoying the upgraded facility!
Hello Members of Blackhawk Country Club,
It has been a busy winter at the maintenance shop. The building has gotten a new roof and siding, and throughout the winter we have gone through our existing machines to have everything in order for this year. Going into the 2024 season we have a few new pieces of equipment added to our fleet. We acquired two greens mowers, a rough mower, and a sprayer. These upgrades will be very beneficial in this years maintenance practices. We have also been clearing tree debris, brush, and leaves for our expected opening date. Our goal is to get everything cleaned up so we can start the season off with no obstructions for play.
As we all know this winter has had its ups and downs weather wise. Between alternating cold and warm spells, and intermittent snow, the course is soggy. With the wet conditions please be mindful of that when play does resume, we may have various cart restrictions each day. The golf shop will keep players notified of any applicable course conditions.
Looking ahead for the start of the season we will be finishing up the project on the driving range. Drainage and new tee areas have been added for a better practice experience. We will be doing some other work as well such as irrigation with more details to come!

Restaurant Update
Due to the transition in ownership of the restaurant, we are planning on beginning full service to members between late April and early May. Rest assured we are doing everything in our control to get service up and running as soon as possible. We will update members as our timeline becomes more finalized. Keep an eye out for revamped menus and social events which will be announced this Spring. Thank you for your patience!
Annual Billing
As a reminder annual dues billing began on 1/2/24. You may access your bill anytime by visiting the "Member Area" on the website, or the "Member Billing" tab on the app. (Your login credentials mimic your online tee time booking credentials.)
The Installment Plan is offered as a courtesy for those who did not choose to pay their dues in full. The monthly payments (January-June) are mandatory. Members must complete all monthly payments on time (paid no later than the last day of each month) to remain in good standing and to remain eligible for any promotions applied to their Membership plan. Members who do not remain in good standing will be subject to an Initiation Fee and New Member policies.

Reminder To Update Your Member Profile
Please be reminded, we are requiring all members to resubmit a completed Membership Application. Please download below or visit the golf shop for a copy no later than January 14, 2024. (New Members who joined after August 1, 2023 need not apply)
This is to ensure we have updated membership profiles for everyone, particularly the longtime members that were adopted through the transition back in 2022. You should also review the Membership Policies in the 2024 Membership Brochure which aim to answer many of the FAQ we have received from members over the last few years.

GHIN Handicapping Updates
Below are a few new updates for 2024 from the USGA regarding GHIN Handicaps. Please remember, in fairness for all club events it is imperative that scores are posted accurately for all rounds played. Score posting begins April 1st, and can be done on the GHIN app, or on the tablet in the main hallway. If you need assistance in creating a new profile or updating your GHIN handicap please reach out to the golf shop.
