A Special Message from Jonathan Goodman
Dear Blackhawk Country Club Members,
On behalf of our entire team, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you for joining us at our recent Member Appreciation Party. Your enthusiasm, energy, and genuine passion for Blackhawk made the evening incredibly special. It was wonderful spending time together and having the chance to connect with so many of you.
We truly appreciate the questions, comments, and thoughtful feedback you shared throughout the night. Your insights are invaluable as we work to elevate the member experience and shape the future of the club. Blackhawk is entering an exciting new chapter, and we are grateful to have your support and engagement as we take this journey together.
We also want to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for the Blackhawk staff, who continue to give their absolute best every day. We hope their efforts are as evident to you as they are to us. They are a hardworking, dedicated, and genuinely caring group, and we are proud of the service they provide to our members and guests.
As we enter the holiday season, we invite you to consider contributing to the Holiday Gratuity Fund, which directly supports the staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes to deliver a memorable club experience. Your generosity makes a meaningful difference and is deeply appreciated.
Looking ahead, we are committed to expanding social and community-focused events at the club. Our team is actively planning a full lineup of new gatherings, as well as the return of the ABCD golf events many of you have been asking about. We’ll soon be sharing a comprehensive calendar of events to help you plan and enjoy everything Blackhawk has to offer.
Thank you again for your warm welcome, your enthusiasm, and your belief in the vision for Blackhawk Country Club. We are honored to serve this community and excited for everything we will build together.
Warm regards,
Jonathan Goodman

Agronomy Update
As we head into the winter season, we would like to update you on some of the important projects and maintenance activities taking place on the course, as well as share some reminders for the upcoming months.
When the course is closed to play our grounds team will continue to work hard to maintain and improve the property during the offseason. Some of the key projects for this winter include addressing tree health and playability with some selective pruning and removal of any damaged trees. This will help improve the overall aesthetics and playability of the course come spring. To ensure the roughs remain healthy and resilient, we will be seeding and aerating these areas. Aeration helps improve soil structure, promotes healthy root growth, and prepares the turf for a strong return next season. We will also be performing routine course cleanup, including clearing debris, maintaining drainage systems, and making minor improvements to bunkers and greens.
As always, we kindly ask that members please refrain from walking or playing on the course once it is officially closed for the season. This is critical to ensure the integrity of our winter projects and the health of the turf. Any unauthorized activity on the course during this time can cause lasting damage and interfere with the important work being done.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep the course in top condition. We look forward to welcoming you back to the course in the spring with a fresh and well-maintained layout.
Wishing you all a happy and healthy holiday season!
