Dear Blackhawk Members,
It's been so nice to welcome everyone back on to golf course! As the season gets into full swing, we wanted to provide some important updates to the club:
Course Maintenance
We recently completed spring greens aeration and topdressing. Fairway and tee aeration is scheduled for Monday, April 17th. By scheduling early aeration, we are able to prepare the best possible conditions for the spring and summer. We kindly remind you that there is no play allowed on Mondays, which allows our crew to have a full day of uninterrupted work.
The Driving Range remains closed with weather and construction pending, a notice will be sent out when the range reopens for the season. We are happy to provide brand new Callaway range balls this year!
Policies & Procedures
A friendly reminder to all Members: our policy going forward states that you must check into the golf shop before your round, please let our staff know if you are walking or riding and how many holes you will be playing. The check-in process is imperative to a smooth operation of the golf course, tee sheet, and an overall positive Member experience. We also ask that guests check in prior to their round and sign in on the guest log. Each guest may play up to twice per month, and a maximum of six times per year.
TaylorMade Fitting Day
We are excited to announce that we have booked an exclusive TaylorMade Fitting experience on Tuesday, April 18th at Blackhawk CC, where all members will have the opportunity to go through a Tour-level custom club fitting.

Handicap Notes
Score posting for handicaps begins on April 1st. As we enter "tournament season" in May, please keep in mind that we will be conducting audits periodically to ensure accurate member posting. This allows for tournament scoring to be equitable among all participants. We have installed a new handicap posting terminal just below the television outside of the pro shop. We also encourage everyone to download the “GHIN” app in the app store on their device for posting scores when playing away from the club. You must have an active GHIN handicap through Blackhawk CC to participate in club events.

Upcoming Events
Beginning in April, we will be sending an email every TUESDAY covering all Tournaments and Events. We will share recent event results as well as upcoming event information.
Our first event of the season will be our Opening Day Shotgun and Cocktail Party on Saturday, April 22nd. The tournament and party are open to ALL members (21+)! We anticipate a great turnout for the tournament, and hope everyone will join us for the cocktail party to follow. All Member's are complimentary for the open bar and hors d'Oeuvres. Member Services
Lastly, don't forget to opt-in to any Member Services you wish to take advantage of this season. This includes Club Storage, Pull Cart Storage, Lockers, GHIN, or the Mill River Plan!
